Tours & Fees
Asheville Brews Cruise offers a variety of tour options, allowing you to experience our city’s thriving beer culture in many different ways. You’ll find our current tour options listed below:
“WALKING WEDNESDAY” (2nd & 4th Wednesday of each month)*
3:00 pm Tour - $40
Tours depart from the Asheville Brewing Company located at 77 Coxe Ave at 3:00 PM (click HERE for directions to this pick-up location)
During the winter months, we will utilize the Brews Cruise Van as needed for the walking tour. This tour includes the Asheville Brewing Company, Craggie Brewing Company, Green Man Brewing Company and the OysterHouse Brewing Company. During this tour you will be sampling 16-20 craft beer, while learning the entire brewing process.
*Eco Trips will gladly drive you to each brewery in one of their unique electric motorcars for a nominal fee.
*This walking tour is available Monday-Friday with a minimum of 4 participants and if we are provided with a minimum of 24 hours advance notice
THURSDAYS
3:30 pm Van Cruise Tour - $40
Tours depart from Asheville Brewing Company on Coxe Avenue at 3:30 PM (click HERE for directions to this pick-up location)
We will depart for the Highland Brewery – the original and largest brewery in Asheville. We will be given an in-depth tour of their facility, learning the art and science behind the brewing process while sampling each of their 6 hand-crafted offerings, including the popular Gaelic Ale. Next we will head to the French Broad Brewery. We’ll sit in the shadows of their unique fish-scale brew kettles while knowledgeable staff discuss the origins and evolution of each of their interpretations of Old World style brews. Finally, we’ll return to Asheville Pizza and Brewing, where we will enjoy 4 samples of their house-brewed beer, including local favorite “Shiva IPA.” At this point you will have the opportunity to dine (the beer is on us but you’ll have to purchase your food separately)
FRIDAYS
3:00 pm Van Cruise Tour - $40

SATURDAYS - We offer 3 distinct tours each Saturday:
• Saturday’s 12:30 pm Van Cruise Tour - $40
Our first tour departs from the Asheville Pizza & Brewing Company located at 77 Coxe Ave (click HERE for directions to this meet location) at 12:30 PM.
We will depart for the Pisgah Brewing Company- the southeast’s only all organic brewery, where we will be led on an exclusive tour of their brew house while we enjoy 5 samples of their organic beer. We then drive to Green Man Brewing Company, and sample each of their 5 British style ales (including an Old World style cask conditioned ale) while being led on a behind-the-scenes tour of their facility. Finishing our tour, we return back to Asheville Brewing Company, where we will enjoy the last 4 samples of the tour. There you will have the opportunity to order food from their award winning menu, if you choose.
• Saturday’s 3:00 pm Walking Tour - $40
Our Saturday walking tour begins at 3:30 PM from the Asheville Brewing Company located at 77 Coxe Ave (click HERE for directions to this meet location).
We will take a leisurely walk around the corner to Craggie Brewing Company- Asheville’s newest brewery, from there we will head to the Green Man Brewery and sample each of their 5 British style ales (including an Old World style cask conditioned ale) while being led on a behind-the-scenes tour of their facility. Next we’ll head to the Lobster Trap Restaurant, home of the OysterHouse Brewing Company, and taste a selection of their distinct brews -including the Moonstone Stout made with whole fresh oysters. Our tour will conclude back at Asheville Brewing Company, where we will enjoy the last 4 samples of the tour. There you will have the opportunity to order food from their award winning menu, if you choose. In the case that our 3pm Walking Tour books up, we do offer an alternative 12pm Walking Tour.
• Saturday’s 5:00 pm Van Cruise Tour - $40
Our final Saturday tour begins at 5:00 PM form the Asheville Pizza & Brewing Company located at 77 Coxe Ave (click HERE for directions to this meet location).

All tours also include a Brews Cruise souvenir keepsake for you to take home.
*Locals with valid proof of residency and groups of 6 or more will receive a $3 discount on all weekday tours. You must be at least 21 years of age to sample beers (valid ID required). Underage and nondrinker tickets are available for $25 per person. Please try to arrive for your tour approx 10-15 early to ensure an on-time departure.
Note, if Brews Cruise guests arrive at the tour meeting place intoxicated, it is at the tour guide’s discretion whether or not to allow them on board. If you are turned away due to intoxication, you will still be charged in full for the tour.
