Catch us at the Bearded Brewfest in Portland this month
Our Road Team will next be in our hometown of Portland displaying at the Bearded Brewfest on March 19th. Learn more about the event in today’s post.
Join Maine beer (and great beard) lovers at the Bearded Brewfest at Sullivan Gym in Portland on Saturday March 19, 2016 for unlimited tastings from some of great craft breweries while browsing interesting beard-related vendors. This festival benefits the organization Til Duty is Done.
No beards are required to attend the festival, but we personally know of several area brewers and owners who have been working on their whiskers for the event.
We’ll be there again as a sponsor and display vendor with updated information on our new tours here in Maine, our Boston plans, and our famous Wheel of Brew Trivia.
This festival is unique as it was designed and is run by people from Portland. The brewers themselves staff the booths, so you can meet and talk directly to the people who make the beer.
And with minimal lines (and responsible unlimited tasting) you can be sure to get the beer you want right away. There will even be a lounge area and fun games to help you take a break when you need it.
In addition there will be over 30 different vendors displaying various products, many of them designed for the care and grooming of great facial hair.

To help promote the event we have run a series of Bearded Brew Tours for the past several months. These tours have visited many of the producers that will be pouring at the event.
There are more pictures from these tours posted below.
Recently this tour visited Barreled Souls and talked to Chris Schofield about his brewery and one of the beers he’ll be pouring at the festival. Check out the video here

One last thing, the organizers have just announced a great rate for Brewfest attendees at the Holiday Inn Express in South Portland. $99/night includes breakfast and a free shuttle to and from the event. Contact the hotel directly and mention the Bearded Brewfest special.
