The Maine Brew Bus is Portland’s Best Tour!

Each year the Portland Phoenix newspaper conducts voting with their readership in order to determine the Best of Portland. We are pleased to have been presented the 2016 award for Best Portland Tour!

The Best of Portland is an annual awards program is designed to showcase which of the businesses, restaurants, artists, trends and quirky local spots are hot in Portland this year.

For the first time, each business and person needed to be first nominated before being placed on the ballot. Also, each vote needed to be authenticated by the means of required e-mail confirmations.

We first received word that we were nominated about a month ago. We were excited to be among some great company, including Maine Foodie Tours, Portland Paddle, Wine Wise Events, and Downeast Duck Adventures.

Over 8,000 people cast their votes in dozens of categories, and we were shocked to learn that we had come out on top, with nearly 500 votes cast for our company.

Thank you to the readers for voting for us, to all of our current staff and former faculty, to our guests who come from all over the world to drink the fantastic craft products that are made in Maine, and to the other amazing tour operators that we were honored to share this category with.
