We gave our first tour in early November of 2013. The response over the past few years has been incredible. We’re so thankful to have been embraced by Charlotte’s residents, visitors and the brewing community. We’ve grown quite a bit and we’re not planning on slowing down anytime soon!
-
Absolutely! We’ve hosted birthday parties, bachelor & bachelorette parties, company events, corporate outings, retirement parties and just about any other type of celebration you can imagine. We require a minimum group size of four on weekdays (Mon.-Thurs.) and a minimum of six on weekends (Fri.-Sun.) All private tours are booked by phone (704.550.2005) or email (info@brewscruisecharlotte.com).
-
We limit our public tours to a maximum of 14. There is no maximum for private tours. The largest group we’ve accommodated to date is 59 people. Pricing can vary a bit for groups of 15+. If you anticipate having a group of that size, give us a call to discuss the details.
-
Public tours cost $49/person. Private tours (for up to 14 people) are $54/person. Pricing includes: transportation between breweries, a behind-the-scenes look at a craft brewery, an overview of the brewing process and (the best part) 12 to 15 samples totaling about 3.5 pints per person.
-
There’s still a great time to be had and we’d still love to have you on board! We offer designated driver or non-drinker tickets for those who will not be sampling beer along the way. The cost is only $24/person for non-drinkers.
-
We work closely with the breweries to ensure that we’re not coming in at times that will negatively impact their day-to-day operations. We always aim to provide the best possible experience for our guests as well as our brewery partners. We select the brewery lineup for public tours. For private tours, we’re happy to take requests, though we cannot make promises and guarantees. Sometimes we can accommodate all or some requests…sometimes none.
-
As law dictates, you must be 21+ in order to be served samples. Ages 18+ are permitted on DD/non-drinker tickets.
-
Most tours last approximately 3.5 hours.
-
Each participant can expect to enjoy 12 to 15 samples totaling about 3 to 3.5 pints. We highly recommend arranging transportation or a sober designated driver to drive you after the tour. Your guide will happily provide you with local taxicab information at your request. North Carolina blood-alcohol level limit for DUI is .08. We don’t recommend driving if you’re anywhere near that number. Do a favor to yourself and those around you…lean to the side of caution and safety!
-
You may not consume alcohol on the bus. There will be coolers on the bus to store your growlers/cans/bottles if you’d like to purchase them to enjoy at home. Food may be brought on board, just do us a solid and try keeping any messes to a minimum. We recommend that you eat a meal before your tour as you will be visiting multiple breweries and tasting quite a few styles of beer. We will provide water and light snacks on the bus.
