Why Travel Croatia With Brews Cruise

This journey is designed for travelers who want more than a sightseeing checklist. Each destination has been selected for the experiences it offers—whether meeting winemakers on the island of Korčula, tasting oysters in Mali Ston Bay, or blending your own gin in Dubrovnik.

Throughout the trip, craft alcohol provides the thread that ties everything together. Wine, beer, and spirits become a gateway into Croatia’s culture, history, and landscape.

You’ll experience:

  • Small-group travel designed for conversation and connection

  • Visits with local brewers, winemakers, and distillers

  • Scenic island travel along the Dalmatian coast

  • Historic towns, coastal villages, and vineyard landscapes

  • Authentic regional food and wine experiences

It’s a relaxed but thoughtfully curated journey where the people behind the drinks are just as memorable as the places themselves.

The Journey

Our journey begins in Split, a historic Adriatic city where Roman architecture and a lively waterfront create the perfect introduction to Croatia. From here, we set out along the Dalmatian coast, traveling south through a landscape of islands, vineyards, and centuries-old towns that have shaped the region’s culture for generations.

Along the way, we cross the Adriatic by ferry and catamaran, stopping on the islands of Hvar and Korčula where traditional winemaking, distillation, and island life remain closely tied to the land and sea. Each destination reveals a different side of Croatia—from vibrant coastal cities to quiet villages and family-run estates where hospitality is part of everyday life.

As we continue toward Dubrovnik, the scenery shifts to the dramatic vineyards and oyster beds of the Pelješac Peninsula before arriving in one of the Mediterranean’s most iconic cities. Throughout the journey, craft alcohol traditions provide the thread that connects each destination, offering a deeper understanding of the region through the people who grow, brew, distill, and share its flavors.

The result is a relaxed, immersive exploration of Croatia that balances scenic travel, cultural discovery, and time to enjoy each place along the way.
