Curling and Brew Tour: now every Second Friday

Join us as we hit the sheet to deliver stones from the hack and practice our sweeps towards the house in order to learn the medieval Scottish sport of curling.

We are pleased to present our Curling and Brew tour in partnership with the Pine Tree Curling Club, now offered every month starting in January 2018!

Due to limited availability of ice time, this tour will run from 10:15am to 2:00pm on the second Fridays of each month. So plan to take the day off and join us for some very unique fun. 

Pine Tree Curling Club is a group that strives to promote and play the Olympic sport of curling in Southern Maine. Curling is an easy to learn sport for people of all ages and athletic abilities.

Not only is curling fun, but it is also a very social sport. Bring a group of your friends to play or get together with a team of new friends. Curling is a great way to ensure a good time will be had by all!

We will meet at the Portland Ice Arena in Portland, where you will get an intro to curling and time to play a game with each other and some of the club members. 

Pine Tree Curling Club is an organization out of Portland established in 2015. They have approximately 50+ members, and the level of experience ranges from first-time curlers to experienced. Their goal is to promote the sport of Curling throughout the Southern Maine area by offering opportunities to learn and enjoy the sport.

After curling, we will visit two different breweries in the Greater Portland Area. Here is the schedule for the next four months:

January 12th – Foundation Brewing // Austin Street Brewing
February 9th – Foulmouthed Brewing // Bunker Brewing
March 9th – Fore River Brewing // Rising Tide Brewing
April 13th – Mast Landing Brewing // Yes Brewing

Finally, after the curling and brew adventure, we will drop you back off at the Portland Ice Arena so you can continue your exploration of lively Portland.
