New Tour Itineraries For Fall and Winter

a group of people standing in front of a bus

The summer has drawn to a close, and we are clearly now in the fall. That means it’s time for new tours! Learn more about these new tour itineraries that are available for booking now.

Our schedule changes twice every year, in November and then again in May. This gives us an opportunity to produce new tour itineraries, and also introduce our guests to brand new producers of great craft alcohol.

Not much has changed with a large part of our schedule. We are offering about 15 different itineraries each week between Thursday and Sunday. Tours on Monday through Wednesday are still available for groups of six or more or during holiday periods and school vacation weeks.

But we have been working hard to create new and interesting tours that are debuting this fall. These tours are available for booking now.

Here is a rundown of each of these new tour offerings!

Curling and Brew tour
Select Fridays beginning November 9th (10:00am – 1:45pm)

Our popular tour in partnership with Pine Tree Curling Club is back on our schedule starting in November, with the first outing during Portland Beer Week.

Join us as we first learn the ancient sport of curling with real enthusiastic help from the experts. Discover that nearly everyone can excel at this fun activity!

After the new sports knowledge, you can go celebrate with us as we visit two local breweries for tours and tastes.

Sounds like a great way to spend some time away from work and other life pressures.

Available Friday, November 9th during Portland Beer Week, and then monthly (10:00am – 1:45pm – Nov 23rd, Dec 28th, Jan 25th, Feb 15th, Mar 22nd, Apr 26th). $70/pp all-inclusive. Learn more…

Malts and Mariners tour
Select Fridays (4:00 – 6:45pm) and Sundays (11:30am – 2:30pm)

This new tour is in partnership with our new ECHL hockey team – the Maine Mariners!

As hockey has returned to Portland, so have our popular tours featuring a tour-and-game-ticket combo.

Meet us before a Friday or Sunday home game in front of the Cross Insurance Arena entrance on Free Street, and we will take you on a three-stop tour of local breweries, wineries, or distilleries.

Upon return to the arena, you will receive a reserved game ticket to watch the Maine Mariners take on their opponent.

Limited dates based on game schedules. $70/pp all-inclusive. Learn more…

Grapes and Grains tour
Every Saturday starting November 3rd (1:30 – 4:30pm)

Based on the popularity of our first-ever all-wine tour, we have developed a Saturday afternoon tour to showcase both the wine and the beer industries here in Maine.

This new tour visits the oldest craft brewery on the East Coast, a very popular and stunning tasting room for a Maine-based vineyard and winery, as well as the lively location for an established brewery for a very enjoyable experience.

Available every Saturday beginning 11/3/18. 70/pp all-inclusive. Learn more…

Saturday Sampler tour
Every Saturday starting November 3rd (5:30 – 8:30pm)

What better way to spend a Saturday than experiencing the incredible amount of variety that the Greater Portland Area had to offer!

Some of our most popular tours give a true overview of the craft alcohol scene by visiting a brewery, a winery, and a distillery. We have brought this concept to our Saturday evening tour lineup.

Join us on our Saturday Sampler tour to learn all about the process of brewing, distilling and even how to make mead – the oldest fermentation process in history.

Available every Saturday beginning 11/3/18. 70/pp all-inclusive. Learn more…

Sunday Field Trip tour
Select Sundays beginning in November (times will vary)

It’s time to take a little field trip outside of Greater Portland.

Join us as we go on an adventure to some locations that are over 30 minutes away from our home.

This will allow us to visit some breweries for great insider look at the operations, and you won’t have to worry about the long-distance driving.

Some potential locations for us to visit include Tributary Brewing in Kittery, Gneiss Brewing in Limerick, Baxter Brewing in Lewiston, and Oxbow Brewing in Newcastle.

Available every Saturday beginning in November. 70/pp all-inclusive. Learn more…
