ABOUT LAS VEGAS BREWS CRUISE
Craig and Mikel founded Las Vegas Brews Cruise in the summer of 2021. Living and working in the area, they saw first-hand that the craft beverage industry was very dynamically growing in and around Las Vegas.
Millions of travelers make their way to the desert oasis year-round, but Las Vegas has never been known as a craft beer town. Fortunately, all of this has changed in just the last handful of years with many new breweries, wineries, and distilleries now open…and more on their way.
These new producers are not on the Las Vegas Strip, they are located in cool and trendy neighborhoods with descriptive names such as Brewery Row and the Artisan Booze District.
Las Vegas Brews Cruise showcases the amazing craft breweries and other producers making high-quality alcohol throughout the area. The all-inclusive tours are expertly guided and provide thirsty guests with behind-the-scenes educational experiences by meeting the people, seeing the process, and most importantly – tasting their delicious products.
While in nursing school in Massachusetts in 2014, Craig and his cousin Bart started Kilted Beer Men. The beer geeks of KBM provided support services to breweries at festivals and events throughout New England. They were essentially serving as “beer slingers for hire”. After taking a tour in Portland, he connected with the founder of The Maine Brew Bus. With his passion, knowledge, and experience, he soon was leading brewery tours in multiple cities in New England as well as helping to market the company at numerous beer festivals.
Mikel is also from the East Coast and grew up in Aroostook County in Maine – the largest county east of the Mississippi. Mikel has a deep background in tax preparation, software programming, and teaching. He oversees all of the customer service, operational, and financial aspects of the Las Vegas Brews Cruise business. His goal is to make sure that every guest is amazed and delighted with the various experiences that are offered. His beverages of choice are those that are not made with grain, so he constantly is researching craft ciders, seltzers, and other emerging alcohol products.

I'm a local who took a friend from out of town on the cruise, and we both had a really great time! Craig, the tour guide, is very knowledgeable and passionate about both craft beer and Las Vegas. Tourists will definitely learn a lot about our city and its craft beer scene, but as a local, I even learned a few things! The breweries on the tour are some of the best in Vegas and offer some of their best beers on the flights. Bonus, each brewery is not too far from each other, so there's not too much walking happening at any one time. Plus you get an up close look at the Arts District murals. We were in a group with people we didn't know, and Craig did a great job of integrating everyone and helping us get to know one another. By the end of the tour it was like we were drinking with good friends! This is definitely a great way to get acquainted with our city's craft beer scene, or just have a fun night out where you don't have to think about the drinks. Cheers!

The Las Vegas Brews Cruise tour is excellent. We toured 3 locations in the Las Vegas Arts District and sampled a wide variety of local and unique beers. At one brewery, we even got to take a behind the scenes tour of the making of the beer, and see how a brewery operates. Craig is amazingly knowledgeable about beer and the process of brewing, and he adds very interesting facts and history about the Arts District, Las Vegas, and the breweries themselves. He is definitely among the friendliest, approachable tour guides that you'll meet. I definitely recommend adding this tour to your Las Vegas experience!

My husband and I had a fantastic time doing the Las Vegas Brews Cruise! Our guide, Craig, was really great and we were very impressed with his knowledge of beer and all things alcohol. He really gave us a fun and informative tour. We learned a lot about beer, the Las Vegas brewery, some Nevada history and more! The 3 breweries we were to were excellent. Really nice places with great craft beer. It was fun to try so many different beers on the tour. Of course, I had my favorites! It was also fun to walk around the Arts District, which is a very interesting area of Vegas. I would highly recommend this tour to anyone who enjoys beer.

A Different Vegas

Me and about twenty business acquaintances hopped on a Brews Cruise in early May and oh boy was it fun! Professional and knowledgeable Craig took us on a walking tour of three local breweries on Brewery Row, with suitable stops in between loaded with local trivia. It was nice to see this part of Vegas and hear about Brewery Row which basically sprung up in the past few years. We saw Hudl, Neon Desert and finally Crafthaus - with a snack at the latter. After the tour, Craig and Michael pointed us in the direction of some other spots to check out and left us all in good spirits (pun intended) and with lasting memories. Highly recommended.

Kept The Group Atmosphere Alive

Soooo glad we decided to get these tickets. Craig (our tour guide) was amazing. He was informative, engaging and kept the group atmosphere alive. There are two tour options which include a stop at three Breweries and a snack mid tour. At each location we received a full flight and background history of the Brewery and even got a BTS look at one of them. In between each stop we learned about the rich history behind Las Vegas Beer (art) district along with some photo ops. What makes the tour even better is that once it's over and if that warrior in you desires more to try, not only are the locations you visited at walking distance but you will have other various options to explore as well.
