Brews Cruise tours offer a behind-the-scenes glimpse at the alchemy of art, science and passion inside every glass of great beer, all while enjoying generous samples of our unique local brews. From pale ales to porters, ESBs to IPAs, there’s sure to be beer to suit every taste. So sit back, relax and enjoy your cruisin’ experience, because we do the driving. Cruises typically stop at three local breweries, and you will leave with a better understanding of the creative process behind beer production.

Mark and Trish Lyons officially launched the Asheville Brews Cruise in 2006. We are passionate about fine crafted beers, and were so impressed with the exceptional breweries in Asheville, NC we decided to share our enthusiasm by creating a mobile tour experience for our guests. After much success and local community support, we decided to expand this concept into different markets including Nashville, TN, Denver, CO and now Bend, OR. With so much beer love in our region, we also developed a winter beer festival that is now held every January in downtown Asheville, NC.

In recent years, Asheville has come to rival Portland, Ore., as a center for craft beer, and the city now claims to have more microbreweries per capita — from places like Green Man Brewery (greenmanbrewery.com) with its cask-conditioned beers, to the hip Wedge Brewing Company (wedgebrewing.com) in the River Arts District.
